STUDENTS (K-12) CAN WIN $1,000 FOR THEIR SCHOOLS AND AN IPAD 2 FOR THEMSELVES
The National Family Partnership (NFP) announced the new contest for the 2014 Red Ribbon Week, October 23-31: “Love Yourself. Be Drug Free.” The nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention campaign reaches more than 80 million people nationwide. “As schools across America celebrate Red Ribbon Week this year, students will take the message home,” said Peggy Sapp, NFP’s volunteer president. “By enteringthe contest and decorating their homes together, families carry the message to their communities.”
Students (K-12) bring the Red Ribbon message home and together, as a family, decorate their home front door, mailbox or fence with this year’s theme and a red ribbon (double looped, like a bow). Parents (18 or older) can upload photos to www.redribbon.org/contest starting October 1st. Then friends and family can vote for their entry, November 5-19. The entries with most votes will win.
